The courses take place in a gite in the medieval village of Durfort. Visits to the local areas of interest can be arranged depending on the time of year and what people want to do. For example in May there is an annual gypsy festival in nearby Les Saintes Maries de la Mer; it is vibrant and exciting. In Sauve during July there is a Medieval Festival where everyone dresses up in medieval costume, and the town is transformed into a great medieval fair; the streets are teeming with people and stalls and of course, being in France, culinary delicacies. The popular Avignon Festival is in July also.

For those of you who are keen to experience a wedding with a difference, and you want to have a medieval experience, we can cater for your needs. Susie can help you create your own bespoke ceremony within the walls of a medieval castle in the next village.

Choose your own drink by wine tasting locally, and celebrate with friends and family in the garden with a medieval banquet. We can cater for up to 20, with some people staying at the gite and others in bed and breakfast in the village.

Alternatively, we can arrange a more traditional wedding! It will still have all the charm of the area and the sunshine.
